Gizmodo

The fall update for the xbox 360 is bringing some gifts for divx/xvid lovers. The update now includes support for divx and xvid. Gizmodo had great information on the new update. They actually said it was “Almost Perfect”.

Some things they talked about in detail are below:

– You can play files off of a CD/DVD.

– It supports almost all files.

– AC3 Audio is supported.

– It supports Windows Home Server as well.

– Video Stretching is kind of weird.

– You can skip through a video with the bumpers.

– It’s fast.

– It doesn’t work in Windows Media Center Extender.

– It’s not entirely perfect.

They also posted that IPTV is not available in this update.
