Windows 7 to Support Transcoding

EngadgetHD has some interesting news that Windows 7 will support transcoding.  This will make the extender environment equal to Windows Media Center.  What you can play in Windows Media Center you will be able to play on the extender.  Some other great news that has come out is Windows 7 will natively support DivX and H.264.  I’m excited for H.264 because I hope that brings DirecTV support.  DivX has always been possible with plug-ins but having native support will make for better playback.  I just need to get my hands on Windows 7.  If you can help me out let me know.
