The new HP TouchSmart would be perfect in a kitchen to organize your family. You can use it to organize the family calendar, sync media players and settle family feuds by quickly accessing Google for the correct answer. The software that is on it looks really good. I have been really impressed lately with what HP is offering. Check out the video below.
