Review: EyeTV 2.4

I was holding off posting anything about the new EyeTV 2.4 update because I wanted to install it on my Mini and play around. But I haven’t had time for that so I wanted to provide everyone with a nice review of the software. Check out the link below for all the details.

Hopefully you can adjust color and brightness. It really irritates me that you can not currently do this in eyetv. You can do it with vlc and real.

I don’t think you can. I looked around for an absolute answer but couldn’t come up with much. I believe they wouldn’t include a feature like this because TV sets have the option to adjust settings. It’s like Windows Media Center, Windows will show a video and tell you to go to your TV to adjust settings. On windows I adjust settings through my Nvidia card so I don’t play around with TV settings. I do agree that it would be a nice feature to add to the software if it’s not there.

I’ll try to get it installed this weekend and let you know what I find out.
