Mac Mini Memory Upgrade

I recently upgraded my Mac Mini from 512MB of DDR to 1GB of memory. It wasn’t a must that I have more memory. But I really wanted to have a reason to take my Mini apart. Below are some pictures I took during the memory install.

The above picture is the Mac Mini and the memory

A picture of the bluetooth reciever. You have to pull it out in order to put the memory in. Just loosen one screw and lift up.

I ordered PQI PC4200 memory from newegg.com. It works great. I was suprised by the performance increase since it is cheaper memory. I ordered the 1GB stick for $75 shipped. It was well worth the money. This was a great way to open up the Mac Mini.
