Hands On the Netgear MoCA Networking Kit

The Netgear MoCA networking kit allows you to create a wired network with existing coax cable in your house. ZatzNotFunny has a hands on with the kit and the results are good. Setup was fairly simple. I didn’t realize that you could put the MoCA kit between the wall and the TV and the TV signal will pass through. He got an average of 68 Mbps which is plenty for HD content. The price for the MoCA kit is around $200. I think it’s the best alternative to ethernet and better than the PowerLine setup.
