Fix 3G on the Nexus One

Since the Nexus One was launched people have been complaining about the lack of 3G showing up. Kevin Tofel of jkontherun has figured out to fix the issue. It’s really simple and you wonder why Google hasn’t said anything about it yet. You basically need to search for networks. He has the step by step in his post. I had to do something similar on my Droid. It kept saying I was in Iowa even though I’m in central Illinois. By turning off the radio and turning it back on it would correctly identify my area. I’m wondering if it’s not an issue with Android software, possible the 2.1 software. Whatever the cause if you have a problem I would head over and try it out.
