DirecTV Adding Local HD in More Areas
I was on the phone this weekend with DirecTV activating my new HR-21. While I was on the phone I asked when local HD would be available in my area. She said she had no idea. So I ordered the AM-21 to go with the HR-21 in the family room. I told her as soon as I order this DirecTV will release local HD. That’s exactly what happened. My town is now on the list for local HD by the end of the year. I thought about cancelling the order but I figured I might get a couple months use out of it before I actually get local HD.
DirecTV also announced more HD programming coming out soon. I’m happy to see Planet Green on the list as I have been watching that station more and more lately. There is also 1080p movies coming. DirecTV doesn’t want to be outdone on anything HD.
