YouTube Comes to Wii and PS3

YouTube now has a browser friendly URL for your game consoles. It’s only for Wii and PS3 because they have a web browser. Just point the web browser to www.youtube.com/TV.

Currently in beta, the TV Website offers a dynamic, lean-back, 10-foot television viewing experience through a streamlined interface that enables you to discover, watch and share YouTube videos on any TV screen with just a few quick clicks of your remote control. With enlarged text and simplified navigation, it makes watching YouTube on your TV as easy and intuitive as possible. Optional auto-play capability enables users to view related videos sequentially, emulating a traditional television experience. The TV Website is available internationally across 22 geographies and in over 12 languages.

Hulu Adds more HD Content

Hulu has released some more content in HD online. The content will stream to your computer in wonderful 720p. It does require a 2.5mbs internet connection and a some what new computer. You can see episodes of Heroes, 30 Rock, 24 and The Office in full length with no commercials right now. This should just be the start of additional HD content on there. Go and watch them so they know people are interested. Let’s also hope they partner with someone like Roku to bring it to the living room.

Veoh adds Hulu shows

Veoh has added TV shows from Hulu to it’s line-up. It already had programing from CBS so this is a great addition to Veoh. Dmitry Shapiro says

That is the tip of the strategy—to become the hyper-aggregator. We will continue to provide a breadth of content. Embedding third-party players will be extended to other offerings, including other video-sharing sites.

Veoh has always been a favorite of mine. And you can navigate easily with a remote. I’m waiting for complete integration into Windows Media Center.
