The hot news or popular posts is like a trending topics. It will make it easier to find new popular information. Ripples is a feature that came from Wave. It gives analytics on a posts and how it spread. Last new feature is photo editing. It’s not just basics and Google is calling it Creative Kit. It allows you to have fun with your photos. They don’t allow just anyone to visit. They did take us on a little tour with the video below. They posted it to their GoogleApps Youtube channel. While we don’t get to see racks and racks of server there is some interesting information in the video.

Google TV will launch with lots of apps available like Twitter, Netflix, Pandora and Amazon Video. They are also going to have a Android and iPhone app as a remote control. While I did just buy a AppleTV I think Google TV has it beat out of the gate. I’m probably going to have to order one to test out. There is a demo video below.

They had to share their impressions with the world. I have embedded the video below for you to check out. The unit was a beta tester box but it looks very good. Google TV is going to be available this fall but there isn’t a price yet. I’m hoping for $150 but I think it might be closer to $200. Read the hands on over at Digital Trends.

It’s called Priority Inbox and it’s supposed to help see what’s important right at the top. I enabled the feature on my account to test it out. It didn’t give me that many important messages but it will be a training process. I like the layout of the messages so it will be worth the investment to train. Below is a video demo of the new Priority Inbox.

That doesn’t mean that Google TV won’t be a great product. The demo video below shows off Google TV and the integration with Dish Network. While it would be cool to have integration with a cable/satellite provider, I’m still hoping Google TV will be the best stand alone set-top box. You can check out the demo video below.

The commercial is embedded below and the first thing that came to mind was “What”. It’s strange way to start publicity on a new product. Plus wouldn’t you want to show how TV could be with Google TV. Oh well, I’m still excited for Google TV and the Logitech Revue. I’m just waiting for that pre-order page to show up.
