aTV Opens AppleTV To So Much More

The AppleTV has always impressed me with how well it does what it does. With that said it is still missing a lot of things that could make it by far the best extender/media player out there. That is additional format support for other file types then just Apple’s and also a web browser. aTV is a flash drive to enable all of that for you, without voiding your warranty. It doesn’t require any hacking skills. It does require $59.95, which I think is a small price to pay for what you get.

Key Features:
– Play most video formats (DivX, Xvid, AVI, WMV, RMVB + more)
– Play DVD files WITHOUT converting them
– Sync, organize and watch non-iTunes video files
– Browse the web with a Safari based web browser
– Rent & watch Hi-Def movies from
– Stream media from UPnP(v1) media servers
– View local weather forecasts
– View RSS Feeds
– Enable SSH access
– All original Apple TV features remain intact
– And much, much more…
