Add XBMC to Windows Media Center

The same people that made the Boxee and Hulu integrator have released XBMC Integrator for Windows Media Center. It allows you to switch between XBMC and Windows Media Center with the Windows Media Center remote. You need to have XBMC already installed on your computer for it to work.

[…] was doing my usual morning read of some blogs I follow when I came across a post over at Multimedia-PCs that I thought was interesting. I do a lot of switching back and forth between Windows 7 Media […]

This was exactly what I needed. However, I ran into some issues. When I launch xbmc from wmc, it works but it is launching a different xbmc. I have modified my skin to transparency, but that is not what comes up. It seams that a base xbmc comes up using defaults. Non of my media shows up, none of the scripts come up either. Should I modify what comes up using xbmc integrator or do I need to modify the application that gets launched.
BTW, I am using xbmc (portable)
