Droid X Getting Android 2.2 Tomorrow

Droid X will be getting the Froyo update tomorrow. That’s what the Verizon site is stating. That’s good news for one of Verizon’s best Android phones. I tried to pull the update on the wife’s Droid X but it wouldn’t give it to me yet. (via DroidLife)


Office 2011 for Mac Available for Volume Licensing

I got an email today that Office 2011 is available for companies that use volume licensing. I downloaded it immediately and installed it. So far I’m very impressed with the new version. More at MadeForMac

Boxee Box Available for Pre-Order

The Boxee Box is now available for pre-order but there have been some changes. The MRSP is $229. They also switched to Intel chips instead of the Tegra 2, which surprised me but explains some delays. Even if you didn’t want to buy the R2-D2 Droid you can download the live wallpapers. You’ll find the link over at Droid-Life. I have embedded a video of them below but really I’m not that impressed with them.
